Breakfast: Flooding delays OTAs...again

On Monday morning, the Texans announced that the first day of offseason workouts would be postponed because of severe weather in the Houston area. Monday was scheduled to be the start of Phase 1, which consists of strength and conditioning and physical rehabilitation.

Heavy rainfall and flooding have delayed the Texans OTAs two years in a row. Last year, Phase 3 was also postponed due to heavy rains that began during the Memorial Day holiday. Phase 3 is the start of 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills, without live contact.

Texans players, including those new to the Houston area, reacted to the torrential rainstorms and flooding on Twitter.
