Breakfast: Texans go franchise-best 7-1 at home

The Texans win over the Bengals on Saturday night not only secured Houston's second-consecutive AFC South title (and fourth in the last six seasons), but also set a franchise record.

The Week 16 victory at NRG Stadium was the Texans seventh home win of the year, the most in team history.

Houston has had a winning record at home in seven of its last 10 seasons, including a 6-2 record in 2007, 2008 and 2012.

Earlier this season, the Texans set a record with six consecutive regular season home wins dating back to last year's matchup against the Jaguars in Week 17.

By locking up the fourth seed in the AFC playoffs, the Texans will return to NRG Stadium on wild-card weekend and host either the Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, or Miami Dolphins, depending on Week 17 scenarios, which can be found here.
