Breakfast: Texans ready to ramp up activity

The Texans are currently in Phase 2 of their nine-week voluntary offseason program, which consists of on-field workouts with individual player instruction and drills, as well as team practice conducted on a "separates" basis.

While no live contact or team offense vs. team defense drills are permitted, the helmets come on for rookie minicamp this weekend and OTAs start in less than two weeks.

The team is excited to ramp up its activity, and GM Brian Gaine, head coach Bill O'Brien and defensive end J.J. Watt spoke to the media earlier this week about building camaraderie, rookie expectations, competition and more, which you can watch in the videos below.
