Breakfast: The August Blueprint revealed today

BWTBheader.jpg

This afternoon we'll get a blueprint for the Texans' month of August.

The NFL preseason schedule will be announced at 4 p.m. CT on the NFL Network, and the Texans will find out who, where and when they'll play. They know the who and where for the regular season schedule, but don't know the date yet. The League will likely unveil the regular season slate in the next two weeks.

Last preseason, the Texans took on the 49ers in the Santa Clara, the Saints and the Cardinals at NRG Stadium, and finished with the Cowboys in Arlington for the finale.

Since 2007, the Texans have played the Saints in every preseason except for 2014. The two squads practiced with each other prior to the 2016 matchup last August.

The Texans have practiced with another team in each of the three preseasons that Bill O'Brien's been the head coach.

O'Brien and the Texans will hold their training camp at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
