Breakfast: Today is a new beginning for Texans

BWTBheader.jpg

The Texans are back.

On the field together, that is.

Today is the start of organized team activities (OTA), which is the third phase of the voluntary offseason program. The veterans and the rookies will practice on the field with each other for the first time.

A week ago, Friday through Saturday, quarterback Deshaun Watson and the rest of the draft picks and undrafted free agents took part in rookie camp at the Houston Methodist Training Center. Three times per week over the next three weeks, the Texans will have an OTA.

Tomorrow is the first media availability, so we'll have videos and photos from OTAs up on HoustonTexans.com.

We're now 110 days away from the season opener against the Jaguars on September 10 at NRG Stadium.
