Breakfast: What to expect in San Francisco

!
Can you believe it? Texans football is just three days away!

Today after a practice here in Houston, the Texans will head out west, as they'll fly to San Francisco for a few days in anticipation of Sunday's preseason opener against the 49ers. Before the official game takes place, the two squads will square off against each other during a joint practice on Friday.

Can't make the trip out the San Francisco? Don't worry, neither am I. That said, we do have an entire crew making the voyage, and we will be providing you with a TON of coverage over the next few days.

What exactly? I'm glad you asked (ok I asked but you get the point).

First off, coverage doesn't start with the teams hit the practice field. Be sure to follow us on Snapchat (TexansOfficial), as Deepi Sidhu will share a behind the scenes look as the team travels to the home of Silicon Valley. We'll also be putting together a video of the trip as well, so you'll feel you've boarded the plane yourself.

Once the team is in California, the focus will shift to football. Our radio broadcasts will be in full swing, as Texans All-Access (6-7 pm CT) and Texans Training Camp (8-10 am CT) will both go live from Santa Clara on Thursday (All-Access) and Friday (both). Marc Vandermeer, John Harris and the normal crew (Drew, Deepi) will bring you the latest as it happens.

The actual practice will take place on Friday at 12:30 pm CT, so mark your calendars. On the field, we'll be doing a Facebook Live broadcast in addition to setting the scene on all of our social media platforms. We will carry Bill O'Brien's post practice press conference live on HoustonTexans.com and our Texans mobile app as well.

So, like I said, there's something for everybody. In the words of the immortal Notorious BIG, we are going, going, back, back to Cali.

See you there.
