BWTB: How players deal with free agency

!For the fans and media, speculation began months ago about the number of players expected to hit the NFL free agent market.

How do players feel about seeing former teammates walk out the door? Wide receiver DeVier Posey tries not to follow the comings and goings of free agency.

"I really don't want to cloud my mind with those thoughts," he said in an interview with Texans Radio.  "This might be an extreme case but it's like looking at life and death. If you get an opportunity to play in the league, you're going to have an opportunity to be out of the league. It happens to everybody at one point who plays."

Posey, who just finished his second season in the NFL, is not a free agent but he's aware that anyone can become a salary cap casualty in the future. Unless it shows up on his Twitter feed, Posey prefers to not focus on the business side of football for now.

"I know I'll face that road and when I do, I hope I'm prepared," Posey said. "Right now, I'm just trying to stay in the grind and fall in love with the process because I know that's going to come one day."

The NFL free agency period begins March 11.
