Darius Walker signs with Broncos

The Denver Post is reporting that former Texans running back Darius Walker has **signed with the Denver Broncos**, making him the eighth running back on new coach Josh McDaniels' roster.

Walker joined the Texans in 2007 as an undrafted free agent from Notre Dame. He was the team's second-leading rusher as a rookie with 264 yards on 58 carries (4.6 avg.) and a touchdown, adding 13 receptions for 81 yards. He also was the host of **Wednesdays With Walker**, a popular weekly segment on Texans TV.

Walker spent the majority of the 2008 season on the Texans' practice squad, with a brief stint on the St. Louis Rams' practice squad in November. He ended the year with the Texans but was not re-signed by the team after the season.

We wish him well with the Broncos.
