Heading into the offseason...

Thanks for checking in this offseason.

Now that 2007 is over, I've had a little time to reflect and recover. As many of you know, I had a shoulder injury at the end of the season that prevented me from being completely healthy.

Right now I feel alright. My shoulder is probably at 80 percent health-wise. But it's nothing that's going to require surgery, and hopefully it should be all right so I can get back soon to get ready for next season.

I haven't made too many concrete plans for this offseason. Last year, I made some plans and then I got hurt and had to go to rehab and everything. I didn't want to jinx myself this year, so I held off a little on planning trips.

That being said, I'm definitely going to do some traveling and see my parents in New York. I'm trying to make my yearly Hawaii trip. I'm sure I'll go to Las Vegas at some point and go to Arizona to do some golfing as well.

Mostly, I'll be around here in Houston. This is home now. I've pretty much relocated here. So I look forward to settling in even more and then focusing on preparing for the 2008 season.

Speaking of which, I am going to pass on the blog torch to another player for next year so you guys can hear from a different voice. Make sure to check this blog section during the summer to find out who's next.

It's been a pleasure contributing to the site and I'm sure you'll hear a lot more from me in the future.

Thanks a lot and take care,

Anthony
