Texans wide receiver Jacoby Jones didn't get drafted by the Houston Astros on Tuesday, but a high school baseball player with the same name did.
Richton, Miss., native Jacoby Jones, who is committed to play baseball at LSU, was selected in the 19th round of the Major League Baseball Draft on Tuesday. He has no relation to the Texans' fourth-year wide receiver out of Lane College.
According to the Houston Chronicle, the baseball-playing Jones is going to be a "signing nightmare" for the Astros. If the Astros do manage to bring him in, Texans wide receiver David Anderson and Rockets center David Andersen will have some company in the unrelated-Houston-professional-athletes-who-share-the-same-name club.
