Jets, not Texans, to appear on "Hard Knocks"

Texans owner Bob McNair **had hoped** that the Texans would appear on the HBO series "Hard Knocks" during training camp this summer. Instead, the show will **profile the New York Jets**&utm_content=Twitter), according to Rich Cimini of the New York Daily News.

Cimini reports that the Jets will make the news official with a "major announcement" at the team facility on Thursday.

Earlier today, the Houston Chronicle's John McClain reported that the Texans wouldn't be appearing on "Hard Knocks" but that HBO **could be interested** in featuring the Texans in the show "Six Days to Sunday." The latter program profiles two teams in the week leading up to a regular-season game.
