Quicker than a hiccup

Wide receiver Jacoby Jones, one of the Texans' fastest players, likes what he has seen out of his fellow Louisiana native Trindon Holliday, the 5-5 rookie kick returner/receiver from LSU.

**"He's quicker than a hiccup,"** Jones said, according to Chris Duncan of the Associated Press. "He's learning, he's wide-eyed, but he's coming. His height doesn't mean anything. He plays like he's 7-feet tall."

Holliday ran a 4.34 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine in February, and he won the 2009 NCAA 100-meter sprint championship with a time of 10.00 seconds.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak said yesterday that while Holliday's natural talent is apparent, he **has a long way to go** in his development as a wide receiver.
