Strong presence on NFL committees

As the NFL owners' meeting continues in Dana Point, Calif., AFC South blogger Paul Kuharsky of ESPN.com provides a breakdown of the division's representation on the league's committees, sub-committees and working groups, several of which are gathering during the meeting this week.

According to Kuharksy, the Texans have an AFC South-leading eight slots on the committees:

  • Football Operations:Texans general manager Rick Smith (Competition Committee, General Managers Advisory Committee)
  • Finance:Texans owner Bob McNair (Finance Committee, Audit Committee, Investment Committee, Stadium Committee)
  • Labor:Texans limited partner Javier Loya (Workplace Diversity Committee)
  • Working Groups: McNair (Los Angeles Stadium Working Group)
