Texans release Green, Greenwood

The Texans have released running back Ahman Green and linebacker Morlon Greenwood, the team announced today. Green ended both of his seasons in Houston on injured reserve after signing a big free agent contract in 2007. Greenwood was a full-time starter from 2005-07 but saw his production drop off late in the 2008 season with the emergence of rookie Xavier Adibi.
