Texans the "next Cardinals"?

Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports calls the Texans the primary candidate to be **"next season's Cardinals** - with one or two tweaks potentially separating an unlikely championship opportunity from mediocrity."

The 2007 Cardinals were 8-8, and Arizona hadn't made the playoffs since 1998 before it went on an improbable run to the Super Bowl last season. Robinson lists the Texans ahead of the Green Bay Packers, Washington Redskins, Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs in his report.
