Time to relax

How is everyone doing?

It's the bye week, which means I have a little more time on my hands.

I've gotten some fan e-mail, and I really appreciate. Someone wanted to know if I've seen the movie "American Gangster" yet since **I love gangster movies**. Unfortunately, I haven't seen it, but I plan on checking it out soon. It looks great, so I'll keep you posted on what I think once I see it. If any of you have seen it, let me know what you think.

I'm getting out of Houston for the bye week and going back home to **Saratoga Springs, New York**. My parents live there and they own and operate this restaurant called "Anthony Weaver's D-line Pub" in Ballston Spa. So I'm going to go check out the business and spend some quality time with them. **Here**'s a link to an article about me coming home previously.

My dad and I came up with the name for the pub. It's a nice place. There's one room that's full of NASCAR gear, because there's a big NASCAR following up there. One room is all football stuff. We have a lot of Notre Dame and Texans gear there, as well as some of my old Baltimore Ravens gear. There's just a ton of sports memorabilia.

If you look on the menu, there's actually a burger named after me. It's called the 'Dream Burger.' I forget what's on it, but I didn't put the recipe together. My parents, Ralph and Melanie, are the cooks. My dad runs the bar and my mom runs the kitchen, and they're in charge of all the food and everything.

Anyways, after a few days with the family in New York, I am going to try to leave Saratoga and go to Baltimore on the weekend and hopefully catch the Ravens when they play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. I might do a little scouting and see some of my old friends. I'll get tickets from one of my old buddies that still plays there, so I'm excited about that.

Overall this bye week, I'm just going to relax and kick back as much as possible. I want to get my body right for this stretch run. I am holding up well right now, but I started to hit the grind a little bit recently, so I'm glad we have a break. Everybody needs this time to get rejuvenated, because if we can get rested I think this could be a special season for us.

Take care,

Anthony Weaver
