Yao Ming of the Houston Rockets stopped by the end of Texans practice today at the Methodist Training Center. Yao was heading into the Methodist practice bubble to run with a trainer as part of rehab for his injured left foot.
Yao, dressed in black shorts and a black Rockets shirt, proclaimed he is in an official state of mourning for the recent devastating earthquake in central China. He greeted several Texans players, including several offensive linemen who had never looked so tiny to this observing eye, and politely declined to talk to the media about topics other than the quake and his relief efforts in response to the natural disaster.
