The Houston Texans partnered with Kroger and America's VetDogs to adopt their second Texans pup, a black Labrador Golden Retriever to train as a future service dog for a veteran or first responder.

The Houston Texans and Kroger, in collaboration with America's VetDogs, helped train Texans Pup Kirby to be placed with a deserving veteran with disabilities. In December, Kirby finally met his match: 34-year Army Vet Kevin Bittenbender.

While two NFL teams compete in this year's Super Bowl, the Houston Texans and Kroger's very own Kirby will be competing in the 18th annual Puppy Bowl.

The Houston Texans Pup came out to Day 9 of Texans Training Camp presented by Xfinity.

The Texans Pup presented by Kroger stopped by to meet Texans Co-Founder and Senior Chair Janice McNair. The Texans Pup, recently named Kirby after a fan vote, is a future service dog from America's VetDogs.
