The Houston Texans and our community partners encourage student achievement by supporting literacy outcomes and regular attendance at school. To achieve this goal, the Houston Texans in partnership with the Wade Smith Foundation will engage in a community initiative aimed at empowering elementary schools located in the Sunnyside and Magnolia Park neighborhoods through monthly reading activations.

Through Reading with the Pros we will:

• Addressing the 3rd grade reading gap by engaging 2nd grade students
• Volunteering to read to students for 30 minutes bi-weekly
• Donate books to enhance each campus' library to continue the growth for the love of reading!
