Quarterback A.J. McCarron is a Texan after signing a free agent deal on Wednesday. The former Bengal and Raider will be the backup to Deshaun Watson, and here are 10 things to know about him.

  4. Spent 2018 with the Oakland Raiders as the backup to Derek Carr
  5. Completed 66.9 percent of his passes for 9,019 yards and 77 TD as Alabama QB from 2009-13

  8. Grew up in Mobile, Alabama
  9. His younger brother Corey played tight end at Alabama, fullback at Middle Tennessee State
