After light practice, Kubiak chimes in on Favre

The Texans had a walk-through practice on Tuesday afternoon inside the Methodist Training Center, which came as no surprise after nine or 10 players players sat out of pracice on Tuesday morning with various minor injuries.

There's not much to report from the session aside from Texans coach Gary Kubiak saying that he slowed things down to help get some players fresh, expressing optimism that some of the injured players could return by the end of the week.

Kubiak also chimed in on the dominant sports headline of the day, the reported retirement of Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre.

"I'll be honest with you, I didn't even know until I came over to practice," Kubiak said. "Whatever Brett wants to do, he's a great guy and good for the league. I wish he would play, but whatever is best for him and his family."
