Breakfast: Texans cooking up something special in 2018

Happy National Personal Chef Day.

We're sure you're celebrating. You put up the tree, hung the decorations...okay. We know you didn't.

But it really is "National Personal Chef Day" and what better time to discuss some of the fun things you'll get to eat at NRG Stadium on gamedays this fall?

Award-winning chef Chris Shepherd will have his Jalapeno-cheddar Dog and Tater-tot casseroles back again this year, but he's also adding a roast beef sandwich with wedge slaw as well. You can snag that up on the club level or in the suites.

Barbecue hero Ronnie Killen of Killen's BBQ will have a variety of options on the 100 and Club levels. His chopped beef sandwiches and loaded baked potatoes are always popular during games.

Goode Company will be in the house this season, and their barbecue sandwiches will be available in the Verizon Clubs.

Ninfa's and Antone's Po-Boys will have a presence as well. Fajitas were popularized, if not invented, at Ninfa's back in the 1970's in the form of tacos al carbon. That'll be available on gameday in the club levels. Antone's will have a few of its staple sandwiches, like the original, the super original, and the tuna fish, ready to rock for customers on the 100 level.
