C.C. Brown signs with Giants

The Giants agreed to a one-year contract on Wednesday with former Texans starting safety C.C. Brown. Last season, Brown fractured forearm in Week 3 against the Jaguars and was placed on injured reserve for the rest of the year. He started 47 of 50 games in his four seasons with the Texans, recording 275 tackles, three interceptions, 16 passes defended, four forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and one sack.

The Texans re-signed safety Eugene Wilson to a three-year contract, the team announced on Saturday. Wilson is expected to start at free safety next season, and Dominique Barber will look to take over at strong safety in the starting lineup
