Coach Capers' press conference

(on the Tampa game) "I really don't feel a whole lot different than I did yesterday. When you go through what we've gone through the last couple weeks, it's never really any fun. What it's come down to is our execution just hasn't been what it's needed to be. We had our opportunities yesterday, and we didn't make the plays when we needed to. I will say this: I'm certainly oproud of the way our guys hung in there and fought."

(on the defensive play) "Defensively, I thought we competed exceptionally well. Throughout the game, the effort was good. You know, they come out and start at the 47 yard line and go eight plays, six of them being runs, and go down and score. Then, we held them to three field goals, after that they didn't cross the goalline."

(on the upcoming games) "We have two division teams coming in here finishing up the season with two very good teams that are playoff bound probably."

(on the injuries) "We don't have any players that will be out for Wednesday's practice, I can't remember the last time we didn't have anyone out for practice. There's normally about 14 or 15 guys limited, so I think we're headed in the right direction."

(on the upcoming week) "The players have looked at the tape, and it's never any fun when you lose, but the thing that' I'm encouraged by is the attitude of our team, no matter what the situation is. There's been a number of times we've gone in the locker room down at halftime, and more than out share we've been able to battle back and come back out in the second half and either tie or win the second half. This time of year, if you don't do that, the game is going to get away from you, especially when you're playing on the road against a team that's still competing for the playoffs."

(on the end of the season) "Our goal with two games to go and knowing they're two division opponents…I don't really gauge it too much by where we end up in the standings, but how well we play these last two weeks. To me, you always want to play your best at the end of the season, it's certainly what people remember about you. I know that our guys have a lot of pride and they don't want to be remembered by how we've played the last couple weeks. I felt the five games prior to that we had really made strides and we were heading in the right direction. We've hit a little bump in the road here having to battle on the road against a couple teams."
