J.J. Watt leaves game with a groin injury

Check out photos of the Texans arriving for Saturday's playoff matchup against the Chiefs.

J.J. Watt left the Texans playoff game in the third quarter with a groin injury and did not return.

"It's extremely painful," Watt said after the game. "It's pretty bad."

With 7:28 remaining in the third quarter, Watt was injured while pursuing Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith. He walked off the field after being evaluated by trainers and did not return.

"It was terrible to not be out there with my teammates," Watt said. "I have been trying to do whatever I possibly can to be out there with them and I tried to do today whatever I could to be out there with them, but there comes a time when you are doing more harm than good and when you can't go, you can't go. It was extremely difficult."
