Per SI.com, the Jets have **cut running back Danny Woodhead** and three other players, claimed three players off waivers and traded an undisclosed draft pick to the Lions for quarterback Kevin O'Connell.
Rich Cimini of the New York Daily News writes that the O'Connell trade either puts into question the future of backup Kellen Clemens in New York or that O'Connell **could be trait bait** for Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall.
Yahoo! Sports says that Marshall **does have leverage** in trying to force his way out of Denver (and possibly to the Jets, who have been rumored to have interest in the disgruntled wideout).
