LIVE Game Blog from Cleveland Browns Stadium

CLEVELAND (3:45) -After Adibi recovered a fumble by Jamal Lewis, Browns fans began to empty out of the stadium. With 3:58 on the clock, the Texans are holding on to their 16-6. In a minute, I will be heading down to the field and then to postgame press conferenes. Most likely, the Texans will be talking about their first road win since Nov. 4, 2007 at Oakland.

Andre Johnson has over 100 receiving yards in this game and the Texans and is leading the NFL in receiving yards.

Thanks for following your Houston Texans in our live game blog!

CLEVELAND (3:35) -The Texans' defense held again in the red zone, forcing the Browns to kick a field goal. But this time, Phil Dawson comes up short. The Texans lead in the fourth quarter 16-6 with 7:34 left on the clock.

CLEVELAND (3:20) -Quarterback Brady Quinn was taken out of the game after throwing his second interception of the game in the third quarter. Defensive end Anthony Weaver and cornerback Fred Bennett each have interceptions for Houston.

Running back Ahman Green left the game in the third quarter with a knee injury and his return is questionable.

CLEVELAND (2:20) -The Texans had a few missed opportunities in the second quarter. Kicker Kris Brown missed a 49 yard field goal and André Davis had a 93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown called back because of a holding call.

But they were able to redeem themselves before halftime when Brown kicked a 31-yard field goal to make the score 13-6. Wide receiver Andre Johnson helped set up that field goal with a 22-yard catch. Johnson now has over 1,000 yards this season.

CLEVELAND (1:50) -The Texans' defense was able to hold the Browns to a 32-yard field goal. Linebacker Xavier Adibi shot the gap on third down and pressured quarterback Brady Quinn. It was one of the Texans' most sucessful blitz plays this season. * *

CLEVELAND (1:32) -Running back Ahman Green gets the dirty yards on fourth-and-1. The Texans are 7-14 on fourth downs.

By the way, there are Texans fans in the Dawg Pound.

CLEVELAND (1:07) -Cornerback Jacques Reeves hit running back Jamal Lewis, forcing him to fumble to ball. Linebacker DeMeco Ryans recovered the ball at the 40-yard line. It was

CLEVELAND (1:07) -Apparently, warming up in a sleeveless shirt in 30-degree weather is a good idea for Kevin Walter. The receiver just caught a 17-yard touchdown pass. Houston leads 7-0. The bench is pumped.

CLEVELAND (1:07) -Wide receiver David Anderson got his first career start and made an 11-yard catch on the first play of the opening drive.

CLEVELAND (1:05) -The Texans chose tails and won the coin toss. Wide receiver André Davis returned a kickoff for the first time since undergoing finger surgery in October.

CLEVELAND (12:55) - The sun is out, but the thermometer reads 30 at Cleveland Browns Stadium. The Texans players didn't seem too cold during warm ups. Wideout Kevin Walter practiced wearing just a cut off shirt. Cornerback Dunta Robinson had on a ski hat as he got ready for his first start since suffering hamstring and knee injuries on Nov. 4, 2007. Robinson will start on the right side with Jacques Reeves starting at left cornerback.

The Texans inactives are: QB Matt Schaub, FB Cecil Sapp, SS Will Demps, LB Kevis Coley, G Kasey Studdard, T Rashad Butler, TE Mark Bruener and DT Frank Okam. The only real surprise there is Demps.

Browns QB Brady Quinn will start despite breaking his right index finger in Cleveland's Monday Night win over the Bills. It will be interesting to see how the weather affects his ability to grip the ball. The Texans wouldn't mind if Quinn let a few passes sail because of the finger. He got a huge applause from the home crowd during introductions and there are tons of Quinn jerseys in the stands.

It's time for kickoff!!
