New attitude for Jets under Ryan

The regular season is five months away (**see schedule**), but it's not too early to start checking in on the Texans' first opponent of 2009, the New York Jets. Under new head coach Rex Ryan, the Jets are taking on a more playful attitude in practice that is quickly changing culture within the organization, per Rich Cimini of the New York Daily News.

**"We're swagger-licious,"** says free agent-signee linebacker Bart Scott, who played for Ryan in Baltimore last season.

Cimini writes that more trash talking, more joking and more fun under the laidback Ryan has been a welcome departure from former coach Eric Mangini's all-business approach. With Scott leading the way, the team that missed the playoffs after going 1-4 down the stretch last season seems to be developing a brash new attitude.
