Okoye visits with kidney patient, brother

Texans players have a lot of free time on their hands with organized team activities and mini-camp having ended last week. Defensive tackle Amobi Okoye recently used part of that time to visit a young kidney patient who is "desperately awaiting a kidney transplant," according to the Katy Times.

Okoye met with 21-year-old Aaron Daniels, who suffers from a rare kidney disease, and offered advice to Daniels and his younger brother, Eric. Aaron told the *Katy Times *that he hopes to live long enough to see Eric, who plays football at Jersey Village High School, make it to the NFL.

"It doesn't take much for me to go out and meet someone, and **it means a lot to put a smile on somebody’s face,”** Okoye said. "It's great to be able to make an actual impact on a person who is going through something like this."
