  • 1st Quarter – RB Phillip Lindsay caught a 22-yard touchdown pass from QB Tyrod Taylor to finish off an eight-play, 84-yard drive (4:38) to tie the game at seven apiece after K Joey Slye made the extra point attempt
  • 2nd Quarter – QB Tyrod Taylor ran for a 15-yard touchdown to cap off a six-play, 47-yard drive (2:38) to take a 14-7 lead after K Joey Slye converted the extra point attempt
  • 4th quarter – WR Brandin Cooks caught a 2-yard touchdown pass from QB Davis Mills to conclude a 16-play, 75 yards (8:08) and cut the Browns' lead to 24-21 after K Joey Slye connected on the extra point attempt

WR BRANDIN COOKS

  • Caught a 2-yard touchdown pass from QB Davis Mills to cut the Browns lead to 24-21

LB KAMU GRUGIER-HILL

  • Finished with a team-leading nine tackles (six solo), setting a new career high for total tackles along with one sack, three tackles for loss (tied his career high) and a forced fumble
  • Sacked QB Baker Mayfield in the second quarter for a loss of four yards, his first sack as a Texan and third career sack

P CAMERON JOHNSTON

  • Punted four times for 209 yards (52.3 avg.), including a long of 56 yards, and pinned one punt inside the 20

LB CHRISTIAN KIRKSEY

  • Finished tied for second on the team with six tackles (four solo) while registering a tackle for loss and a fumble recovery
  • Recovered a fumble forced by DB Justin Reid in the first quarter

RB PHILLIP LINDSAY

  • Caught a 22-yard touchdown pass from QB Tyrod Taylor to tie the Browns at seven apiece in the first quarter, the second receiving touchdown of his NFL career and his first since recording a receiving score in his NFL debut in Week 1 of the 2018 season

DL JACOB MARTIN

  • Recorded a sack on QB Baker Mayfield for a 10-yard loss to a force a punt on the game's opening drive, his first of the 2021 season

QB DAVIS MILLS

  • Made his NFL debut, going 8-of-18 for 102 yards, one touchdown and one interception
  • Completed his first career touchdown pass to WR Brandin Cooks, a two-yard reception that cut Cleveland's lead to 24-21

DB JUSTIN REID

  • Finished with four tackles (four solo), an interception and a forced fumble
  • Forced a fumble from WR Donovan Peoples-Jones in the first quarter that was recovered by LB Christian Kirksey
  • Intercepted a pass from QB Baker Mayfield in the second quarter and returned 25 yards to the Cleveland 47-yard line
  • The play gave him seven career interceptions and marked the first time recording an interception in consecutive games

QB TYROD TAYLOR

  • Completed 10-of-11 passes (90.9 percent) for 125 yards, one passing touchdown and one rushing score for a 144.3 passer rating before exiting the game with an injury
  • Scrambled for a 15-yard touchdown in the second quarter, his only rushing attempt of the game, to give the Texans a 14-7 lead. The score marked the 17th rushing touchdown of his career and first as a Texan
