After Friday's practice, Texans head coach Gary Kubiak answered questions from the media. The following is a transcript of his interview.

Head coach Gary Kubiak(on the team's health) "Well, you know, (TE) Anthony Hill has been sick. Initially we thought he had pneumonia. It's been confirmed that it's a case of swine flu. So we have one confirmed case of swine flu on our team and he's doing much better today. We had a few guys feeling ill yesterday but they all came back today doing just fine. So, you know, we're ready to go."

(on if TE Anthony Hill is in the hospital) "Yes he is."

(on how worried his about the contagious aspect of swine flu) "I think we're obviously doing everything we're told to do from that standpoint. We're taking every precaution we can. The good news is, anybody who didn't feel good yesterday came right back and felt good today in practice so we feel like it's very isolated and we're getting ready to go play a game."

(on the diagnosis of TE Anthony Hill) "He should be fine. I think he could possibly get out today. Don't hold me to that but I was told that he could possibly go home today."

(on if he has talked to TE Anthony Hill) "No I have not."

(on if the news caused any panic) "No, there's no panic at all. We handled it well as an organization yesterday evening and understood what was going on, got on top of anybody who wasn't feeling good yesterday evening and like I said, today we responded well. Everybody was fine."

(on if QB Matt Schaub is playing as well as his statistics indicate) "Yeah, he's playing well. He's played some good defensive football teams and I think he's held up and done his part. Obviously we've got a couple of turnovers but we start to compare that to last year from the standpoint of protection of the ball, we're doing a much better job of that. Matt's a fine player. When he's on the field, he's done some good things. So like I said, when it's all said and done after 16 weeks, I think the key to him being a great player is how well he protects the ball."

(on why QB Matt Schaub's protection of the ball is better this year) "I think he's playing this year like he played last year. His numbers and the way he handles the football game, they've been the same. It's just, if you look at the times he's been on the field, those numbers have held up for him as a player. The thing that's been our of whack that has to get better for you to be considered a Pro Bowl player is protecting the ball as you do it. So that's something he's trying to get better at."

(on if he thinks QB Matt Schaub is protecting the ball better this year) "I think he has done a better job through three weeks of this year and if he continues to protect the ball he's got a chance to be one of the top quarterbacks in this league."

(on if he thinks QB Matt Schaub could make the Pro Bowl) "We've got a long way to go. A long way to go."

(on the pink shoes) "It's breast cancer awareness this week in the National Football League and I think each team has picked four players that will wear those shoes to show their support. I'm not sure who our four are. I think I know who they are. I think they're (RB Ryan) Moats, (WR) David Anderson, (WR) Andre Johnson, and (DE) Mario Williams."

(on if he's wearing pink shoes) "Not that I know of."
