The NFL announced **the 2009 Pro Bowl rosters** at 3 p.m. CT today. Wide receiver Andre Johnson and defensive end Mario Williams will be the Texans' two representatives in the February all-star game. **Both players were named starters** for the AFC squad, the first time two Texans have been selected to start in a Pro Bowl.
Texans tight end Owen Daniels, linebacker DeMeco Ryans, running back Steve Slaton, guard Chester Pitts and fullback Vonta Leach were all named alternates.
