Saturday practice quotes

The Texans practiced at the Methodist Training Center on Saturday morning, and head coach Gary Kubiak answered questions from the media after practice. The following is a transcript of his interview.

Texans head coach Gary Kubiak(on if there are any game-time decisions on the injury report) "No, we're okay. The only guy is (TE) Garrett (Graham). (DE) Mario (Williams) and (WR) Andre (Johnson) did their normal deal. They are ready to go. (TE) Owen (Daniels) had a good week and he's ready to go. Other than Garrett Graham, we're intact."

(on CB Sherrick McManis getting opportunities) "Yeah, he has gotten some good opportunities in the game last week. Actually got hung in some bad situations from a standpoint of what we had on the field and what they had on the field and did some good things. He'll continue to get more reps. He's playing well on special teams. (DE) Timmy Jamison is going to get more. He played really well last week. He did some real good things. We're playing them all. (LB) Zac (Diles) and (LB Darryl) Sharpton will continue to split time."

(on if the team is as healthy as it could be through 12 games) "Yeah, probably at this point, OD (TE Owen Daniels) is coming off a lot of time off. So it's not like he's going to go out and play 70 plays. We can't do that. It'll be interesting to see how he'll hold up, but he's ready to come back and play. As far as those other guys, it kind of has been that way. When you talk about (DE) Mario (Williams) and (WR) Andre (Johnson) it's been that way the last six to seven weeks, so nothing has changed."

(on playing TE Owen Daniels this Monday night) "What I'm going to do is basically just play him. (TE) Joel (Dreessen) will start the game and they'll basically split time in certain things that we're doing. Then OD's a full-time player in a lot of things that we're doing. His reps will come out and he'll get plenty of reps. We'll see how he does."

(on what did he take away from the Buffalo Bills running the ball successfully against the Ravens defense) "They made some big plays throwing the ball. Baltimore played them a little bit different. They played in a man-free coverage. They played a couple of deep balls, go routes. I don't know how they're going to play us. We'll have to wait and see. They are capable of playing of what we call two-man (coverage) and try not to give up the big play, but we'll see. They're a dang good defensive team."
