A Tommy Togiai touchdown put an exclamation point on a Texans regular season that we will talk about for decades.
The best part is that we have more football left.
When Togiai blasted into the end zone following a recovered fumble on the Colts lateral-palooza play, it continued a winning streak that's now tied for the best in team history. It also notched a 12th win, tying an all-time Texans best.
This was another tight, entertaining game in a season loaded with them. The lead changed hands more than a pre-2007 mortgage.
Ka'imi Fairbairn hit a career-high six field goals, tying a team record (and tying the NFL single-season record with 44 on the year) and is strong candidate to help the Texans go back-to-back weeks in AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors following Tommy Townsend's win last week.
C.J. Stroud threw a TD pass to Jayden Higgins and rushed for his first touchdown of the season, a two-yard run, before Davis Mills came in after the half to finish the game.

Mills made laser throws to Xavier Hutchinson, who led the team in catches, and Jaylin Noel on the go-ahead field goal drive.
The defense saw plenty of subbing all the way through, making big stops despite allowing 30 points. Unfortunately, they finish second in the scoring defense category by a follicle after the Seahawks' big game Saturday night.
But make no mistake: This is clearly the best defense the Texans have ever put on a field, and the full-season totals of yards and points prove that.
Now come the playoffs. For the first time ever the Texans begin on the road. The division was within reach but the Titans fell far short in their bid to upset Jacksonville.
The Texans will be ready regardless. They've proven they can win big games on the road (Kansas City, Indy, the Chargers) and in cold weather (Arrowhead Stadium).
They have the defense to beat anyone and they have an improving offense led by Stroud, who will be making his fifth postseason start, that will look to run tough and strike hard.
This is what we've been waiting for.
Let's Go!
