Updating a previous report...

In late February, we wrote about the Texans hosting a high school football showcase for Houston-area seniors who missed out on scholarship offers from Division I colleges.

Richard Justice of the *Houston Chronicle *wrote a nice piece over the weekend about the results from the camp. At least 94 of the 300 kids who attended the showcase received four-year scholarship offers, totaling $6 million.

Our kudos go out to Phil Camp and Coby Rhoden of Milby High School, who first organized the free event two years ago and saw it double in size and scholarship money offered this year.
