The Houston Texans and Amegy Bank teamed up to host the inaugural Small Business Boost Breakfast on March 11. The Small Business Boost program was created to support and recognize local small businesses and their importance to the fabric of our community. At the breakfast, previous winners and finalists were able to join together to hear from a panel of Houston business leaders and network with other small businesses in the community.

The Texans and Amegy Bank honored the owners of Mo Better Brews/Houston Sauce Co, husband-and-wife team, Chef Courtney & Chasitie Lindsay. The women of Dumpling Haus love sharing. Sharing their delicious dumplings with the City of Houston, sharing meals for essential healthcare workers during the COVID-19 Pandemic, and sharing their storefront to house a mural bringing awareness to a worthy cause.

The Houston Texans and Amegy Bank are happy to award July's Small Business Boost with the Dumpling Haus as a small token of appreciation for their commitment to the City of Houston.

The latest winner of the Houston Texans Small Business Boost presented by Amegy Bank is Cochinita & co. and owner Victoria. Cochinita and Co. is a woman- and immigrant-owned business that has managed to reinvent itself following the pandemic. Conchinita & co. is currently serving its take on vibrant Mexican food daily under the same roof as Kickin's Local Market. For winning, Cohinita & co. will receive a $2,500 grant and marketing support from the Texans. Through the Small Business Boost, the Texans and Amegy Bank have awarded $27,500 in grants to small businesses. Learn more here.
