In honor of the NFL's Salute to Service initiative, the Houston Texans and American National Insurance hosted Service Members and First Responders at NRG Stadium for a flag football tournament and skills challenge. Texans Rookies and Defensive Tackle Mario Edwards Jr., joined by Texans Legends Chris Clark, Glover Quinn, Jim Herndon, and Travis Johnson, served as coaches for the day. Participants faced off in round-robin games and friendly competitions including a long toss, field goal challenge, and tug-of-war. In the end, Houston's First Responders claimed the inaugural Salute to Service Showdown Trophy as the event's first-ever champions!

The Houston Texans and Coca-Cola are proud to announce the 2025 BOLD Award recipients. The program was established to honor Black Outstanding Leaders and Doers in Houston! The 2025 winners were surprised for their significant impact in the community. The Texans and Coca-Cola awarded these deserving leaders with $5,000 each to the non-profit of their choice.

We had a blast at the 2025 Youth Football Camp Presented by Chevron, with special guest appearances from Houston Texans Legends, TORO, and Houston Texans Cheerleaders! We can't wait to see you again next year!

On May 8th, the Houston Texans and Coca-Cola with Kroger surprised 10 special mothers from Family Houston with gifts and a pampering experience in lead up of Mother's Day weekend. Family Houston is a 2024 Inspire Change recipient. On behalf of Coca-Cola, each mother received an $1000 gift card to Kroger, a $750 Visa gift card and experiential gifting including: mini-facials, hand massages, bouquet creation, and a patch station!

The Houston Texans, ConocoPhillips, Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages and Ashley awarded $455,000 through the Inspire Change Grant Fund to 12 local nonprofits and educational programs working to make a difference in the Houston community. Grant recipients were celebrated at a reception at NRG Stadium with Texans Chair and CEO Cal McNair, Vice President of the Texans Foundation Hannah McNair, Texans players, Legends, Cheerleaders and TORO.

The Houston Texans hosted over 200 athletes in their Girls Flag League program for a flag football clinic held at the Houston Methodist Training Center. The athletes developed their skills through a series of drills coached by professional women's football team, the Houston Energy, and were visited by special guests Adrienne Smith and Texans Legends, Cecil Shorts III and Earl Mitchell

The Houston Texans celebrated exceptional educators through the Texans Touchdown Teacher Initiative, a 24-hour campaign inviting fans to nominate teachers who exemplify excellence in and out of the classroom. This year's winner, Mrs. Okoli, a 4th grade math teacher at KIPP Shine Prep, was honored in a heartwarming surprise with her entire fourth-grade class.

Houston Texans Legends, TORO, and HTC joined the faculty and staff of Walt Disney Elementary to welcome students back to school after their campus was damaged after the holiday tornadoes in Brazoria County. Walt Disney Elementary School, is one of our valued Flag in Schools campuses.

This season, the Houston Texans partnered with the Wade Smith Foundation and HISD for Reading with the Pros. As part of the program, campuses participated in a reading competition. The students at Mading Elementary won the competition reading over 150 books, earning them the grand prize of a custom Houston Texans "Reading Corner" in their school library!
