Finished his Bears career with 457 tackles (third-most in MSU history), 40.5 tackles for loss, 21 passes defensed, 5.0 sacks, five interceptions and three forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in 46 career games (all starts)
Racked up 22 double-figure tackle games, including 15 in a row to end his career

2016 (Missouri State):
Credited with 142 tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss, six passes defensed, three forced fumbles and two interceptions in 11 games
Earned NCAA Division I FCS Consensus All-America honors as one of the nation’s top linebackers his senior year
Led all FCS players in total tackles per game (12.9) and was second nationally in solo tackles per game (7.7)
Finalist for Buck Buchanan Award as top defensive player in DI FCS football (finished third) First-team All-America selection by Associated Press, AFCA, Walter Camp Football Foundation, STATS Inc., HERO Sports, and FCS ADA

2015 (Missouri State):
Had a stellar junior campaign in which he earned All-MVFC First-Team honors and led the conference with 152 total tackles
Was the MVFC leader in tackles per game (13.8), which ranked third among all NCAA Division I FCS defenders
Logged 9 double-digit tackle games and averaged 6.6 solo tackles per game, which was tops in the conference and No. 5 nationally  

2014 (Missouri State):
Started all 12 games as a sophomore and earned All-MVFC honorable mention honors
Brought down 92 ball carriers which ranked second on the team and 11th in the MVFC
His 14.5 tackles for loss were 5th in the MVFC and 56th nationally

2013 (Missouri State):
Started all 12 games at Sam linebacker as a redshirt freshman
Was MSU’s only freshman player on the MVFC All-Newcomer Team
Ranked 26th in the MVFC in tackles per game (5.9) and was 5th on the club in total stops (68) while ranking 2nd among all Bears in tackles for loss (6.0)

2012 (Missouri State):
Redshirted the season and earned MSU Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year by the coaches

Attended Logan-Rogersville (Mo.) High School
A Missouri Class 3 consensus all-state running back after compiling 2,002 rushing yards on 225 carries for 33 touchdowns for the state champions in 2011
Registered 102 total tackles, 7 for loss and a pair of interceptions as a senior at linebacker
Named MHSFCA Offensive Player of the Year in 2011 as well as Central Ozarks Co-Offensive Player of the Year and SWMFCA Offensive Player of the Year
Son of Tacoma Bailey and Traci Cole of Rogersville, Mo.
Has three siblings: Devon, Daelyn and Danae
