Earlier this week I had a chance to chit-chat with Sean Pendergast of SportsRadio 610.
You can listen to him and former Texans defensive lineman Seth Payne in the mornings from 6-10 a.m., on the "Payne and Pendergast" show. He's the guest with me Saturday night on 'Texans 360', which you can watch at 11 p.m. on ABC-13/KTRK.
He and I talked for 30 minutes, and I asked him 12 or so questions about the Texans in 2020. Four of those questions, with an abbreviated version of his answer are below, and you can listen to the whole thing HERE.
1) DD: Over/Under of 29 touchdown passes this season for Deshaun Watson?
PENDERGAST: Over...Just the natural progression...I'm banking on everything being better offensively.
2) DD: 2019 rookie you're most anxious to see in 2020?
PENDERGAST: TE Kahale Warring. We only saw him for a few practices.
3) DD: A retired Houston Texan, from when they were in their prime, who you'd like to add to the 2020 roster?
PENDERGAST: WR Andre Johnson.
4) DD: Pro Football Hall of Famer, from when they were in their prime, who you'd like to add to the 2020 roster?
PENDERGAST: OLB Lawrence Taylor. It almost feels like it wouldn't matter what the needs were on defense for the Texans. You say 'Lawrence Taylor', and it's like, 'Okay'.
That's just a snippet of our conversation. He said more about each of the four questions above, and he also answered nine more. Please give it a listen, and don't forget to watch us on 'Texans 360' tomorrow night on ABC-13/KTRK.
