Texans cornerback Alan Ball has been ruled out of the regular-season finale at Indianapolis with a foot injury. Outside linebacker Brooks Reed and safety Shiloh Keo are questionable for the game.

Ball has not played or practiced since Week 12 at Detroit. Texans coach Gary Kubiak said Thursday that he expects Ball, a top reserve corner and valuable special teams contributor, to return for the playoffs.

Reed is expected to start on Sunday and play a similar amount as last week, when he sat out the entire second half. He had four tackles in the first half against the Minnesota Vikings after missing the previous three games with a groin injury.

Keo, a special teams captain, was limited in practice on Thursday by an ankle injury. He did not practice on Friday.

Running back Arian Foster, tight end Owen Daniels and defensive end J.J. Watt are among 18 Texans players listed as probable. Foster was cleared to play by a cardiologist earlier in the week after dealing with an irregular heartbeat against the Vikings. He was a full participant in practice all week. Daniels did not practice on Thursday because of a sore hamstring but was fine on Friday. Watt was limited Thursday with a chest injury but was a full participant in Friday's practice.

Colts center Samson Satele (ankle), nose tackle Antonio Johnson (ankle) and defensive end Cory Redding (quad), all starters, were ruled out by Indianapolis on Friday. Backup running back Delone Carter (ankle) also was declared out.
