Amegy Small Business Boost: Three Brothers Bakery

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been tough on small businesses across the world.

The Texans have three main goals as an organization: win championships, create memorable experiences and do great things for our community. With that third goal in mind, the Texans and Amegy Bank are promoting and assisting the small businesses that make the Houston community so great.

The Texans took nominations from fans, and awarded four Small Business Boosts. Each winner gets $5,000 to support their immediate business needs, some free promotional assets from the Texans, an inclusion in the Texans 'Local Business Playbook', and an invitation to exclusive Amegy Bank Business Webinars and Events.

Three Brothers Bakery is a shining example of a great small business in Houston. The traditions of Three Brothers Bakery date back to 1825 and Chrzanow, Poland, and have survived nearly two centuries, a pair of World Wars, and the family's imprisonment in a concentration camp during the Holocaust.

With three locations in Houston, they pride themselves on being "memory makers who happen to be bakers", and they pump out delicious breads, pastries, cookies, specialty dessert cakes and pies on a daily basis. They also prepare custom birthday, special occasion, wedding and groom's cakes as well.

Their Pecan Pie was named by Country Living Magazine as "the Best Mail Order Pie America has to offer" in 2017, and a year later their Pumpecapple Pie Cake was featured on BuzzFeed's 'Worth It' web series.

Three Brothers Bakery has been making sweet memories for Houstonians over the last 71 years, and they in turn have supported some key charities that mean a lot to them, including Holocaust Museum Houston, the Susan G. Komen Houston foundation, and many others.

They plan on using the prize money to help pay their team of employees.
