Andre Hal makes preseason history

Texans cornerback Andre Hal was a bright spot in the Texans 40-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

With 2:31 remaining in the third quarter, Hal intercepted 49ers quarterback Josh Johnson's pass intended for L'Damian Washington and returned the ball 77 yards for a touchdown.

The 7th-round draft pick was the first player in franchise history to record two pick-6's in the preseason. The first came against the Atlanta Falcons when Hal picked off former Texans quarterback T.J. Yates and ran it 61-yards for the score. Houston went on to defeat Atlanta 32-7.

Hal's touchdown Thursday night was the lone score for the Texans in the second half.
