Breakfast: Thursday Night Football on Twitter

!
Welcome to Thursday Night Football, live on Twitter.

For just the second time in the history of the National Football League, tonight's Thursday Night Football game  between the Texans and Patriots will be live streamed on Twitter beginning at 7 pm CT. In addition to watching Houston face off against New England on television via CBS and the NFL Network, Twitter will also offer live streaming coverage of this game.

So, what exactly does that mean?

Essentially, you have another option to watch football, and that's never a bad thing. If you are more of a TV person, and prefer to watch it on your big screen, you can still do that.

However, if you are on the go, or can't be in front of your TV for a certain period of time, you have another option to make sure you don't miss any of the action. For those not familiar with Twitter, the social media platform is primarily used as a micro-blogging service, where fans and media can share real-time thoughts about a particular event. Thursday Night Football is really the perfect fit for this type of platform, seeing as how there is only one NFL game on tonight for fans to talk about. This way, you can do both in the same spot.

Starting at 7 pm CT with the pregame show, you can go to the link tnf.twitter.com and be able to watch. In addition to seeing the video on your mobile (or other) device, you'll also get a stream of tweets from other fans and entities that are commenting on the game.

Happy watching, and enjoy tonight's game. Check out the graphic below to find out how you can watch #TNF.
