BWTB: 9 reasons Luck is great


The Texans square off against the Colts this Sunday at noon. Under center in Indianapolis is Andrew Luck, who's 4-1 all-time against Houston. The former Stratford Spartanhas the full respect of head coach Bill O'Brien.

During the runup to the Week 6 Thursday night matchup, O'Brien was very complimentary of Luck. On Monday, O'Brien listed nine newer reasons he's impressed by the third-year signal caller.

  1. "Just watching him play, he is a very confident quarterback right now."
  1. "He's a great competitor,"
  1. "Who has a great arm."
  1. "He never thinks that the play is over. He competes until the last second. I mean, he is going after it. He's scrambling around trying to make plays for his team."
  1. "He's a very smart quarterback."
  1. "He's able to get them into the right plays, you can tell."
  1. "He does a great job with his cadence."
  1. "He does a great job with the tempo."
  1. "Pep Hamilton does a great job with calling plays for him. Like I said, they have a very strong coaching staff and we have a lot of respect for Andrew Luck and that offense."
