Johnathan Joseph should stick to football.
The Texans' veteran cornerback and his son, Johnathan Jr., met up with a couple members of the Harlem Globetrotters at the Houston Texans YMCA on Wednesday. The two Globetrotters, one nicknamed Stretch for his 7-foot-4 physique and the other Buckets for his ability to hit shots from the half-court mark, taught the Josephs a few trick shots and passes.
Six-year-old Johnathan Jr. showed some promise and even played a little one-on-one with Stretch, while his father laughed off a few of his own missed baskets.
"It was the ultimate experience," Joseph said on sharing this moment with his son. "I remember my time as a kid and as an adult now, just getting to interact with Harlem Globetrotters and getting to meet one. He was ecstatic today just to be around those guys and just to learn 1-1 tricks from those guys."
Houston can rest easy; it's safe to say Joseph won't be leaving the Texans for the Harlem Globetrotters anytime soon.
Catch the Harlem Globetrotters this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at NRG Arena.
