Case Keenum limited in practice, questionable for Sunday

Quarterback Case Keenum was limited in practice on Friday because of a right thumb injury. Interim head coach Wade Phillips said the second-year quarterback might not even play on Sunday.

"He was a little sore," Phillips said. "He's going to be a gametime decision."

Keenum was injured at the end of the loss in Indianapolis, and his sprained thumb was in a splint all last week.

Keenum practiced on Thursday, taking his normal amount of reps. Phillips said the team would know more about him after the Friday practice.

"We're going to wait and see how Case is," Phillips said. "It could be a situation where he wouldn't be able to start but he'd be the backup."

If Keenum is unable to start, Matt Schaub will.
