Clowney a gametime decision vs. Eagles

Jadeveon Clowney is unlikely to play on Sunday versus Philadelphia.

The outside linebacker returned to game action in Week 8 against the Titans after missing the previous six games with a knee injury. Head coach Bill O'Brien was asked about the likelihood of Clowney being active against the Eagles, and he wasn't optimistic.

"I don't know," O'Brien said. "I wouldn't say it looks very good for him playing Sunday."

O'Brien added, however, that Clowney would get checked again on Saturday and "will be a gametime decision like it was last Sunday."

On Friday's game status report, Clowney was listed as questionable because of a knee injury and an illness.

Whitney Mercilus started in Clowney's place since Week 2.
