Clowney, Miller among Wk 17 inactives

Jadeveon Clowney and Lamar Miller won't suit up for the Texans in their season finale at Tennessee.

The defensive end and running back, along with outside linebacker John Simon and fullback Jay Prosch, were ruled out on Friday. That quartet didn't practice this week because of injuries.

Clowney was dealing with wrist and elbow issues, while Miller was out because of an ankle injury. Miller missed the Week 16 win over the Bengals.

The Pro Bowl-bound Clowney finished the 2016 season with 16 tackles for loss and six sacks.

Miller, meanwhile, carried for 1,073 yards and five touchdowns in 14 games.

Here are the rest of the Texans inactives.
