* HOUSTON* – The Houston Texans announced that they have signed 10 undrafted rookie free agents today.

Teams are able to sign any draft-eligible college players who were not selected during the two-day NFL draft once the draft has concluded.  Seven of the 10 players signed by the Texans play on the offensive side of the ball, and four of them line up in the offensive backfield.

The Texans signed a pair of running backs, a fullback and a quarterback, along with two offensive guards and a wide receiver.  On defense, Houston added two defensive ends and a cornerback.

This group joins the seven players Houston drafted last weekend to make up the 2006 Texans rookie class.
