Garrett Graham a go for Sunday

Garrett Graham is good to go.

A back ailment landed him on the injury report, and the tight end missed practice last week. He was inactive Sunday against Washington, but his head coach was optimistic about Graham's return to action in Week 2 at Oakland.

"Garrett will be in the game on Sunday," Bill O'Brien said.

Graham practiced on Wednesday and Thursday, and happy to be back.

"I felt good running around," Graham said. "I'm just trying to progress every day. We'll see where I'm at by the end of the week."

O'Brien also said tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz, who missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday with what was listed as a foot injury, is "day-to-day". The head coach said the Texans will evaluate the rookie again on Friday.

As for Graham, O'Brien said the fifth-year pro is "a good leader, smart guy, good teammate, catches the ball well," and "is getting better at blocking.

Graham had a career-best 49 receptions for 545 yards and five touchdowns last season.
